Challenge

Solution

Results

The marketing team needed to excite and engage over 1,100 US employees during a virtual brand kickoff. The challenge was to reach their global workforce with one event to unveil their new branding.
The Sonova ACUS team engaged Mainstage to professionally execute a 4-hour hybrid conference, streaming the program to employees around the country and driving increased engagement with both in-person and remote audiences.

Mainstage offered full-service event production support from start to finish, with audiovisual services at the venue to create excitement with onsite employees, and a multi-cam, high-quality livestream built to engage virtual folks.

The Mainstage Team:

    • Conducted a venue survey to confirm and assess onsite audiovisual capabilities

    • Set up and managed a streaming portal that was easy for remote employees to access

    • Developed a run of show to keep event staff on track throughout the conference

    • Performed a virtual tech check and rehearsal to ensure speakers were comfortable and confident with conference technology

    • Created an animated graphics package for the livestream that introduced each speaker, seamlessly transitioned from one presentation to the next, and offered picture-in-picture graphics and full-screen interstitials to enhance the virtual viewing experience

    • And after the event, Mainstage provided Sonova ACUS with digital recordings of the entire event for future use.
By going the hybrid route, the Sonova team was able to reach far more remote offices than they would have been able to reach with an in person event.

The employees appreciated the fun and unique video production that was created to celebrate recent wins and communicate upcoming plans.

“From tip to tail, Mainstream was an active partner in driving success. No ask was too big or too small.”

Free Times

Receiving 5 Emmy nominations and airing across the Midwest on ABC TV, Built to Last is a TV program featuring state-of-the-art high rise construction, major infrastructure developments, and projects that support disadvantaged communities. BTL highlights important projects, the people who build them, and the lives they impact.

Challenge

How to create a music event series that both showcases individual groups while still creating a cohesive event series? How do you best capture live music performances in a cyclorama film studio?

Results

This online series has created a home for local bands to reach a global audience. Collectively all four episodes of Mainstage Sessions have accumulated over 15k views!

Solutions

Mainstage transformed the video studio into a music hall – capable of hosting full bands. The production setup included:

Local artist Tim Ramirez – aka Hydrosonic Light Show – used overhead projectors, slide projectors, handmade items, and vintage video production gear to project unique visuals on the cyclorama walls to match each band’s sound.

This series is co-produced by acclaimed local cinematographer  Sarah Giroux, the award-winning music TV producer Lou Hinkhouse, and Mainstage Director Nick Bacon.
